The Bank is proud to sponsor the mural celebrating the 175th Anniversary of Richland County and the City of Olney.  Stop by, or drive by, to see the mural which is located on the East wall of the Main St. parking area where the Farmer's Market is normally located.
We encourage everyone to participate in the 175th Events scheduled for the weekend.



The Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Julie M. Hearring to both the First National Bank in Olney, and Summit Bancshares, Ltd. Board of Directors effective July 1, 2016.
Julie will fill the seat vacated by retiring director John Kaare. Directors and staff look forward to working with Julie, who brings valuable business and management experience to both Boards.


 


Employees and their families from the First National Bank in Olney recently participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kids Sake. The event is a fundraiser for the BBBS organization, and its mentoring programs for area youth. The Bank is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the event, and is a strong supporter of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Richland County.


 


First National Bank in Olney employees recently participated in an Ugly Christmas Sweater Day. Employees made a donation to participate, with proceeds benefiting the City of Olney Christmas Lights Display.

The First National Bank in Olney made a donation to the Art Club at the Richland County High School.

 

The First National Bank in Olney hosted a congratulatory reception for the Olney Little League All Stars to celebrate their recent success.
Team members, coaches, and family members enjoyed Joe's pizza, drinks and an amazing cake. Congratulations and best wishes for the future to the Olney Little League All Stars and their coaches. Great Job Guys!



The Robinson Branch of the First National Bank in Olney recently received a plaque of appreciation from the Eagle Theatre in recognition of the Bank's sponsorship of the 2015 Summer Kids Movie Series.
 

The First National Bank in Olney was a corporate sponsor of the White Squirrel Cruisers Car Show held on Saturday, August 15th, 2015.  Emily Clark and her son Carson represented the Bank at the event, and Carson chose a 1970 Chevelle as the winner of the Bank's Choice Award.

The First National Bank in Olney recently made a donation to the Richland County Farm and Fair Association as the corporate sponsor of the Richland County Fireworks Display held on July 4th at the Olney City Park.

Janice Travis, First National Bank in Olney, accepting the First Place trophy from the 2015 Oblong Girls Pigtail Softball Tournament that was recently held. Presenting the trophy were Hannah and Danica Potts who play on the First National Bank in Olney team.



On June 18th, 2015, the Oblong Branch hosted a Customer Appreciation Drive Thru Lunch. Between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, employees cooked and served approximately 335 sack lunches with “hot off the grill” porkburgers, chips, cookie and a drink. Some lucky customers even received coupons in their sacks that were redeemable for prizes! Thanks to everyone who helped make the Customer Appreciation event such a success.



On June 15, 2015, First National Bank in Olney employees participated in the Olney Tiger 5K Run.

8th grade students to volleyball camp.

First National Bank employees and family members participated in the Annual Lights Fantasia Parade in Olney on November 24th, 2012. Candy and t-shirts were given out from our "Elf" inspired float, which won the Children's Choice Award.
